Fast Track Rec Soccer Training

We are excited to announce that we will be offering Fast Track Soccer Skill Training all season for U8 rec soccer players. These fast track sessions are FREE of charge, so please take advantage of this opportunity. The sessions will be on Monday evening throughout the season, from 5:30-6:30pm on field 5a. Again, these are sessions are FREE and are for U8 aged Rec Soccer Players. DCU Win at Lanier Academy Cup

The Fall 2010 Soccer Season got off to a great start for Dawson County United Soccer Club. At the Lanier Academy Cup, held at Allen Creek Soccer Complex in Gainesville, the DCU academy soccer teams competed in seven divisions and ended up with 4 teams reaching semi-finals, 3 teams making the finals, and two of the teams winning out. The DCU U10 Boys made a very strong showing, coming out of group play as the number one seed in their division. Exiting the group stage as the top seed earned DCU U10 boys a match with the host team from Lanier Soccer Academy in the semi-finals. Tide Host DCU Soccer Players

Last Wednesday, August 11, The University of Alabama’s NCAA Women’s Soccer Team took some time out of their busy pre-season training schedule to host some of the youth players from Dawson County United Soccer and our partners Big Canoe United Soccer. The players and coaches spent time with our youth soccer players of various ages, demonstrating tricks, skills, and discussing the competitive world of  Division I NCAA soccer. It was a fantastic opportunity for our players to interact with young women that are fulfilling their dream of playing soccer at a high level. Speed and Agility Courses Every Monday and Friday!

DCU is now offering a speed and agility coarse. The sessions are Monday and Friday nights. Currently the sessions are FREE to all academy players. Times are: Monday 5:30-6:30 (U10-U12 players) on Field #3B, opposite the goalie training. 6:30-7:30 (U9-U10 players) Friday 6:30-7:30 (All ages) on half of field #1. Eventually, the sessions will become open to the entire league and will be $5 per session.
