FOR THE Fall 2010 SEASON:

1. Mandatory Turf Shoes Policy. In order to preserve the quality of our fields, ALL players are required to wear turf shoes (not flats) to ALL practices. Cleats may be worn in games if one chooses, but turf shoes are more than adequate to wear in games and in most cases provide more comfort and control than cleats

If you are unfamiliar with Turf Shoes or are need of a pair, Totally Soccer in Cumming (located next across from The Avenues) had Diadora Turf Shoes that will be offered to DCU players at a discount price of only $25 a pair.

2. Fast Track Training. Fast track training
is available for U6-U8 players that are looking for advanced skill training. “Fast Track Training Program” will not only challenge its participants during sessions, but will also specifically require players to keep perfecting their skills through extra work at home. The focus will be on acquiring and mastering proper basic soccer skills, crucial for the Academy level. Sessions are run by our league trainer, Jerry Yarbrough. They are $10 per session and can be paid on a per session basis.

3. Academy and Select Teams. In Fall 2009, DCU are launched their Academy Soccer Training program in it’s entirety as well as their Select Soccer Program.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR FALL SEASON

The Registration Fee for the Spring 2010 Rec Soccer Season is $75.

There is NO additional uniform fee
There are NO out of county fees

$50 Discount to Volunteer Head Coaches

Parents that volunteer to head coach one rec soccer team will receive a $50 discount toward the registration fee of one rec player. Parents that volunteer to coach an additonal team will receive an additonal $50 refund off of another player registration. To be eligible, you must have at least your “F” coaching certificate or take our coach certification class.
