Get Involved as a Referee in the Greater North Georgia Youth Soccer Community. Follow the directions below to get assigned to referee games. If you have any questions, contact craigdcu@gmail.com or jbonesteel@dawsoncountyunited.com 1) If you are not already set up at www.gameofficials.net you must go to this web-site and set yourself up as an Official. When you first get to Game Officials you will see a Login Box. Click where it sys “”Click here if you are a New Referee”. This will take you to a screen where you will type in the required information which adds you to the Dawson County United Referee pool. Group Number = 1055 Password = DCU Once you have done this, an e-mail will be sent to you with a Login Name and Temporary password. You must follow the directions that come with the e-mail and get your Account set up. You will need to set up your Profile (Please be very specific with this) and you will also need to go to Availability and fill out the information on when you are available to work. The more information you fill out on both the Profile and Availability the better it will be for us to assign games. 2) For those that already have a Login and Password, please make sure that your Availability is filled out. 3) Once you have been added to the schedule, an e-mail will be sent to you with directions on the next step to do. You must respond to this e-mail. If you do not, your games will be re-assigned. 4) You can Log into www.gameofficials.net <http://www.gameofficials.net/> and print off your schedule. Please take some time to get familiar with the site as it is the only way for you to be assigned to work. IMPORTANT: All referees are required to submit a W-9 form. NEED TO GET CERTIFIED? Becoming a certified referee is relatively easy. There are no minimum/maximum age restrictions to becoming a referee. However, since the two day (12 hour) certification process includes 8 hours of classroom instruction, be realistic about your child’s ability to sit for 8 hours then score a 75% or greater on the test to gain certification.
